This is a 12-month fixed-term contract that has resulted from internal resources being redirected to a major business transformation programme. The successful candidate will step into a well-established finance reporting team and take ownership of day-to-day financial accounting responsibilities while the programme runs its course.Overview of the Financial Accountant role:Sitting within the finance reporting function and working closely with senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for delivering accurate statutory and regulatory reporting across the business. This is a role for someone who is technically strong, organised and comfortable working with minimal hand-holding - the team needs someone who can pick things up quickly and maintain high standards throughout the contract period.
