Financial Accountant Salary: £45,000 - £50,000Location: Drighlington Hybrid Are you a technically strong accountant looking to take ownership of financial reporting, statutory accounts and financial controls within a purpose-driven organisation? We''re recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technical accounting, financial governance and improving processes, whilst working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation. The Role Reporting to the Head of Finance, you''ll take the lead on financial accounting, statutory reporting, balance sheet integrity and financial controls. You''ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining a robust governance framework and providing expert technical accounting advice. You''ll also work closely with senior leadership, external auditors and a range of internal stakeholders to ensure the finance function delivers high-quality reporting and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the monthly financial close process and produce accurate management accounts. Own the balance sheet, ensuring reconciliations are completed, reviewed and maintained to a high standard. Prepare statutory accounts and coordinate the year-end audit process.
