Financial Accountant

Robert Half is partnering with a well established and highly regarded professional services business in Manchester to appoint a Financial Reporting Accountant into their finance team. The role Part of a high performing finance function reporting into senior leadership A mix of financial reporting, analysis and forward looking insight Exposure to group reporting and senior stakeholders Opportunity to support strategic and commercial decision making Key responsibilities Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports Support budgeting, forecasting and long term financial planning Build and maintain financial models Analyse financial performance, trends and variances Monitor KPIs and provide clear insight to the business Support group consolidation and senior management reporting Assist with interim and year end financial statements Prepare technical accounting papers Support the external audit process Work closely with non finance teams to ensure data accuracy About you ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Experience in financial reporting, financial analysis or FPandA Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets Comfortable using reporting or BI tools Able to communicate financial information clearly to non finance stakeholders Detail focused with a commercial mindset Package and benefits Salary up to ..... full job details .....
