Are you looking for a long-term contract offering hybrid working within an international engineering business?This is an opportunity to take ownership of financial reporting for a portfolio of UK ledgers, ensuring monthly accounts are accurate, balance sheets are fully reconciled and reporting deadlines are met.You will work closely with the wider finance team and international colleagues, supporting statutory audits, VAT returns and SOX compliance while investigating and resolving accounting queries.Based at the company''s Inverurie office, the role offers two days working from home each week once training is complete. The Role: Own month-end financial reporting for assigned UK ledgers, preparing income statements and fully reconciled balance sheets Investigate and resolve outstanding reconciliation items Prepare monthly and quarterly SOX compliance documentation Prepare annual statutory audit packs, cash forecasts and monthly VAT returns Review and approve payments in accordance with financial controls Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support finance and business projects The Person: ..... full job details .....
