Financial AccountantSalary: £38,000 to £42,500 (depending on experience)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Hybrid working patternContract: Full-time, PermanentLocation: Wrexham, North WalesThe RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a busy team within a market-leading organisation based in Wrexham. Working as part of a team, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery of key financial information to support business objectives. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced finance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Finance Manager with the day to day running of the department to ensure Company financials are accurately maintained and all deadlines are met.Working with HR and our external payroll partner to ensure the monthly payroll is completed successfully and reports submitted (probably about 25% of the role)Fixed Asset ManagementWeekly and Monthly Group ReportingEnsuring financial regulatory complianceResponsibility for VAT and other Tax submissionsLiaising with auditorsEnsure internal controls are in place and regularly reviewedDrive continuous improvement, proactively reviewing current methodology and opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.Ideally you will be:Qualified Accountant or Qualified by ExperienceHave experience in a similar finance role within a fast-paced ..... full job details .....
