The RoleWe''re working with a global technology business that''s transforming how major retailers, banks and hospitality providers operate through automation and innovation.They''re now looking for a Financial Accountant to join their head office finance team in a role that blends technical accounting, stock ownership, and genuine business partnering.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment and wants to take real ownership of inventory accounting, reporting and financial insight.What You''ll Be DoingYou''ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy while driving insight across a stock-led business:Own stock accounting processes, including stock counting, valuation and provisioningLead stock reconciliations and variance analysis, working closely with operational teams to investigate discrepanciesDeliver clear, actionable variance reporting, supporting decision-making across finance and the wider businessAnalyse slow-moving and obsolete stock, making recommendations to improve financial performanceTake responsibility for month-end close activities, including journals and balance sheet reconciliationsPartner with teams across Supply Chain and Operations to improve processes and controlsPresent insights and lead monthly review discussions with senior stakeholdersAlongside this, you''ll also:Oversee a small international Accounts Payable functionManage intercompany reconciliations and ensure reporting deadlines ..... full job details .....
