Financial Accountant

Reed Finance are supporting our client to appoint a Financial Accountant. This role is a key role to support the Financial Controller with key areas consolidation, intercompany accounting, and statutory reporting.Key responsibilities:Lead consolidation and intercompany reporting across multiple entities.Coordinate financial data submissions across operations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Support and train accounting staff on operational and overhead accounting processes.Compile supplementary financial reports.Review and provide oversight of financial processes including bank accounts, fixed assets, rentals, and other balance sheet areas.Manage the end-to-end process for annual statutory accounts and regulatory reporting.Ensure all financial transactions comply with IFRS and are recorded accurately and on time.Identify financial risks or issues and escalate or resolve them appropriately.Skills and CompetenciesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively across teamsProven ability to build and influence relationships with non-finance stakeholdersExcellent attention to detail with a focus on error-free deliveryStrong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to meet deadlinesProactive, analytical, and results-driven mindsetHigh level of initiative and problem-solving capabilityKnowledge and Technical ExperienceIn-depth knowledge of financial accounting reporting standardsExperience with financial systems ..... full job details .....
