Financial Accountant

I am currently hiring for a local Shoreham based technology - led Accountancy practice. They are approaching a stage of major growth which has brought them to the point they need to expand their team. They are now looking to hire a Qualified Accountant to join their growing team. The business partners with entrepreneurial clients, delivering a blend of outsourced finance, strategic CFO support, and systems consultancy.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, client interaction, and adding commercial value beyond the numbers.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectorsPrepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance deadlines are metProduce management accounts, board packs, and financial reportsPerform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reviewsPost and review journals, accruals, prepayments, and adjustmentsPrepare and submit VAT returnsAssist with corporation tax and income tax assignmentsHandle client queries and build strong working relationshipsEnsure accurate and timely submissions to HMRCAbout YouACA / ACCA qualified with at least 2 years'' experience in practice. Additionally, if you are QBE but holding a strong track history within practice, i am also keen to hear from you.
