Financial Accountant

Purpose Of Role:To work alongside the Operations and Finance teams, Financial Controller and Financial DirectorPreparation of monthly accounting pack, review and posting of financial journals to ensure that monthly accounts reconcile and reflect true performance of the business. Control of WIP for TandM projects and revenue recognition for procurement deals.Key Areas of Responsibility:Accounting records: Control of financial records and ensure Group reporting guidelines are followed.Overview of credit control function for the Business Unit.Reconciliation of WIP, Other debtors and cost and revenue journals.Payroll preparation including payroll additions and expense control.Reporting Requirements:Production of a revenue report driven by time sheet records and the production of a cost report and analysis of the above to identify any unexpected differencesProduction of month end balance sheet reconciliations and posting of month end journals relating to the recording of costs and revenue from the production of the revenue report and procurement function.Supervision of Accounts receivable function including control of WIP.Control of procurement revenue and cost recognition.Production of monthly management accounts and month end metricsProduction of budgets and other Group reporting requirementsWeekly calls with Operations and Sales Admin teams.Adhoc:Main point of contact for financial queries for the Business UnitAdhoc requests to analyse figures in order to assist management ..... full job details .....
