The role is based at an impressive office which is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry / Warwickshire. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will take responsibility for all of the firm''s financial accounting activities as well as overseeing a small team. Day to day responsibilities will include full balance sheet control, long range planning, fixed assets, year end, working with the external auditors, monthly board reporting, supporting with budgeting / forecasting, preparation of the VAT return and working closely with the Finance Director and Management Accounts team. The role would suit a candidate who is qualified in either the ACCA or ACA qualification and your experience will have a strong financial accounting bias.
