Financial Accountant - Projects and Investments

Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established and successful organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant - Projects and Investments. This is a genuinely interesting opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys the variety of a broad finance role and has a passion for improving processes, developing systems and finding better ways of working.Working as part of a small and collaborative team within a Family Office environment, you will combine your accounting expertise with responsibility for investment and wealth reporting, financial reporting, corporate governance and a range of projects focused on process improvement, systems and technology. This role would suit an accountant looking for something different from a traditional finance position, offering a broad remit and the opportunity to influence and improve the way the organisation operates.There is also excellent scope for progression, with the opportunity to develop into a Senior Manager position and ultimately take on broader responsibility for the operations of the office. The role is based near the Somerset/Dorset border, with hybrid working available following an initial training and probationary period.
