The CompanyFinancial Accountant - Growing OrganisationAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Accountant to take ownership of external and internal reporting, governance, and technical accounting across a complex, multi entity business.This is a senior finance role with responsibility for group reporting, statutory accounts, tax compliance, and technical accounting standards, while acting as a subject matter expert to the wider finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring strong financial control, regulatory compliance, and high quality reporting to senior stakeholders.The RoleKey ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting submissions, including KPI reporting.• Deliver group reporting under IFRS and ensure consistency with accounting policies.Prepare completion accounts for acquired businesses.Act as the technical accounting subject expert, supporting the wider finance team on standards and policy interpretation.Own statutory reporting requirements, including year end accounts and audit support.Prepare quarterly and annual corporation tax calculations and submissions.Maintain a robust tax risk register.Manage RandD tax credit claims and capital allowance reviews.Prepare indirect tax returns, including VAT and other sector specific duties.Support the annual budgeting process, with particular focus on group reporting requirements.Ensure strong governance, risk management, and control ..... full job details .....
