This role offers an opportunity for a recently qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) to take responsibility for financial reporting across European entities, working collaboratively with regional and global teams.Client DetailsOur client is a global financial firm, operating in a complex regulatory environment and known for its exceptionally high standards.DescriptionMaintaining accurate books and records for European legal entitiesPreparing monthly and annual financial statementsProducing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedulesSupporting audits and working with external auditors and advisorsInterpreting accounting standards and documenting accounting policies and controlsPartnering with internal stakeholders, including finance technology teams, to improve and automate processesEnsuring deadlines are met in a fast-moving, regulated environmentProfileRecently Qualified in ACA / CA or equivalent with approx 1 year PQEFinancial Services Sector Experience either in Industry or PracticeExperience preparing financial statements and account reconciliationsStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsConfident communicator able to build effective working relationships across teamsHighly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing competing prioritiesAdvanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems an advantageExposure to regulated environments beneficial but not requiredJob OfferCompetitive salary and ..... full job details .....
