Financial Accountant

High Growth Organisation Oxford Qualified Our Client Mackie Myers is partnering with an innovative and growing life sciences business based in Oxford. As the organisation continues to scale, they are looking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join their established finance team. The Role The Financial Accountant will play an important role in supporting the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across the business. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will contribute to statutory reporting, revenue accounting, audit, tax compliance and month-end activities, while also helping to improve processes and strengthen financial controls. Main Duties Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and financial reporting Support monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting requirements Support revenue accounting activities, including contract reviews and revenue calculations Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations Contribute to month-end close and year-end audit processes Support UK and international tax compliance requirements Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and systems Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider business Provide financial support and insight to operational teams Support junior members of the finance team and contribute to wider finance projects The Successful Candidate ACA, ACCA or ..... full job details .....
