FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT Up to £50,000 Appley Bridge Monday to Friday-8:00am 4:00pm or 9:00am 5:00pm.KPI Recruiting are working in partnership with an established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified) finance professional to join a successful business based in Appley Bridge, taking ownership of statutory reporting, regulatory compliance and financial accounting.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with UK accounting and tax legislation, supporting external audits, and working closely with the wider finance function.Key Responsibilities Financial and Statutory Reporting Manage the day-to-day accounting, month-end close and Group reporting.Prepare and submit statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and Companies House requirements.Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies. Tax and Regulatory Compliance Manage all aspects of corporation tax compliance, including calculations, returns and liaison with HMRC.Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation.Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax legislation, implementing any necessary updates.Assist with ..... full job details .....
