Financial Accountant

Fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team within an established manufacturing group based in North Kent. This role is office-based and would suit a career driven, qualified accountant who takes ownership and works closely with the Head of Finance and the parent Group. Duties include:- Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant Role:- Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes Prepare statutory accounts and support external audit requirements. Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities. Develop and enhance financial models to support business decision-making. Analyse financial performance, challenge underlying assumptions and identify areas for improvement. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of group reporting processes. Produce high-quality financial reports and presentations for senior management. Requirements of the Financial Accountant Role:- CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified Advanced Excel skills including financial modelling Essential to have proven experience with the manufacturing sector or strong exposure to cost accounting Car owner driver Benefits of the Financial Accountant Role:- Free on-site parking 25 days holiday ..... full job details .....
