Financial Accountant

Our client, based in Coventry, is currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager (Financial Accountant) on a permanent basis. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary rate is £45,000 - £50,000, and they offer a hybrid working policy of 3 days per week working from home and 2 days in the office.The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP and the ability to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Producing and reconciling the financial and management accounts reporting, including the Group''s monthly internal reporting for stocks, profit and loss and balance sheet Reconciling and ensuring agreement of all inter-group debtors and creditors each month endProviding analysis required to support the Tax department with the tax affairsReconciling and ensuring accurate recording of all monthly payroll costsPreparing the annual UK statutory accounts and other statutory government returns, such as those required on a wide variety of financial subjects by the Office for National Statistics, or the Financial Conduct AuthorityLiaising with external auditors and other parties ensuring compliance with all UK company legislationActing as the key point of contact on accounting issues, in particular the members of the Controlling team, and to ensuring that all departments understand and comply with the Group accounting standardsSkills, knowledge and expertise:Strong Excel ..... full job details .....
