This role requires strong technical accounting skills, the ability to work independently, and a methodical approach in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepaymentsPerform balance sheet reconciliations, including maintenance of intercompany accountsSupport the maintenance and reconciliation of the fixed asset registerAssist with year-end audit processes, including preparation of supporting documentationProduce clear and concise handover and process documentation to support transition into BAU (Business as Usual) operationsAnalyse costs and revenue as part of the month-end close processEnsure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial dataPerson SpecificationEssential Skills and ExperienceProven experience in month-end close, including preparation and analysis of costs and revenueStrong understanding of financial accounting principlesExperience with balance sheet reconciliationsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionCalm and effective under pressure, particularly in a high-volume transactional environmentStrong organisational skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approachDesirable Skills and ..... full job details .....
