Sheridan Maine are proud to be working with a Berkshire based well-established business to recruit a Financial Accountant. This role is varied in content and works closely with the Financial Controller covering a range of internal and external reporting duties. This is a newly created role and offers a great career opportunity for a technically focused qualified financial accountant.

Key responsibilities of this pivotal role will include:

• Responsible for the group consolidation process.
• Management of monthly intercompany accounting and group reconciliations.
• Creating financial reports and providing analysis to key stakeholders.
• Assisting with the external audit process.
• Day to day support and mentoring of a small team.
• Management of compliance and reporting.

The ideal candidate for this position will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and possess strong technical skills ideally with international accounting experience.  It would also be advantageous to possess previous group and consolidation knowledge.
