This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly reputable business operating within a global group environment, offering exposure to statutory reporting, treasury, VAT, fixed assets and financial controls. Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the financial accounting function and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the business. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting treasury activities, VAT reporting and statutory reporting requirements Preparing and posting monthly journals, accruals and prepayments Performing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end close processes Maintaining and reconciling the fixed asset register Ensuring investments are authorised and accounted for correctly Assisting with internal and external audits and providing supporting documentation Supporting financial control processes and regulatory compliance requirements Assisting with finance projects and system implementation activities Identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider business What you''ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have: CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification (although AAT and qualified ..... full job details .....
