The organisation offers hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The offices are based in Port Glasgow and are easily accessible via public transport with on-site parking. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in financial reporting, compliance and process improvement, whilst working closely with experienced finance professionals. Your new roleReporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting.Key responsibilities will include:Preparing and posting month-end journal entries Supporting the timely and accurate month-end close process Performing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations Ensuring financial records are accurate, complete and compliant Assisting with the preparation of management accounts Supporting the production of statutory financial statements Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards Assisting with internal and external audit requirements Identifying opportunities to improve ..... full job details .....
