Financial Accountant

Your new company A globally recognised organisation is seeking a qualified accountant to join its Group Finance function. Your new role Reporting into the Group Finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely group financial reporting across a multinational business. Responsibilities will include: Supporting and preparing the monthly group consolidation process Raising consolidation journals and reviewing consolidated reporting outputs Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts and group reporting disclosures Providing technical accounting guidance across the finance function, including IFRS research and application Managing relationships with external auditors and coordinating audit requests Taking ownership of a portfolio of UK and overseas entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance Supporting month-end close activities and helping drive continuous improvement of financial reporting processes Becoming a key user of financial reporting and consolidation systems, providing support to wider finance teams What you''ll need to succeed ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant Strong technical accounting knowledge with up-to-date IFRS expertise ..... full job details .....
