Financial Accountant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant with a Japanese cultural institution, on a full-time (35 hours per week), FTC (to March 2029) basis. As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate financial accounting, compliance and reporting across all entities.Please note, there is hybrid working in place with this organisation with a minimum of 1 day per week required in their central London office.As Financial Accountant, you will:- Support the delivery of month-end and year-end accounting processes across all entities, ensuring financial records are complete, accurate and supported by appropriate documentation- Lead the preparation and coordination of specific financial reporting and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with reporting requirements- Prepare VAT returns and supporting documentation across all entities- Support the operation and monitoring of procurement and purchase order processes- Coordinate audit schedules, reconciliations and supporting documentationThe successful applicant will:- Have significant demonstrable experience in finance, in a similar role, such as a management accounting or financial accounting role- Be at least a part qualified accountant- Have strong Excel and financial system skills- Have experience supporting month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations - Have strong technical accounting and reconciliation skills- Have excellent ..... full job details .....
