Financial Accountant

A well known luxury lifestyle group is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team on an initial 6 month fixed term contract.The business operates a portfolio of premium hospitality, wellness and retail brands and is currently undergoing significant change across its finance function. As a result, this role will play a key part in supporting year end audit activity, strengthening financial controls and improving reporting processes across the Group.The RoleActing as a key contact for external auditors and coordinating audit requirementsPreparing and reviewing audit schedules and supporting documentationReviewing and improving balance sheet reconciliations across the GroupInvestigating and resolving historic balance sheet itemsSupporting the production of monthly management accounts and financial reportingAssisting with statutory accounts preparation and compliance requirementsSupporting wider finance transformation and process improvement initiativesWorking closely with finance and operational stakeholders across the businessAbout YouACA or ACCA qualifiedCurrently working within audit, accounts or financial reporting and looking to move into industry, or already operating within a Financial Accountant positionStrong technically with a good understanding of statutory reporting and financial controlsComfortable working with senior stakeholders and external auditorsHighly organised with strong attention to detailProficient in Excel and confident working with ..... full job details .....
