Financial Accountant International Group Leatherhead, Surrey £48,000 £55,000 plus benefits Hybrid Working European VAT and Multi-Currency Accounting A newly created opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a successful, privately owned international Group which continues to grow across the UK and Europe, with businesses operating in Belgium, Poland and Germany. Based at the Group s head office in Leatherhead, Surrey, this broad accounting role offers genuine international exposure across several businesses. You will join an established and growing finance team, supporting European VAT compliance, multi-currency accounting, statutory and financial reporting, and the continued development of financial controls across the Group. A key part of the position will involve preparing quarterly VAT returns across several European jurisdictions and ensuring the correct VAT treatment of imported products and cross-border transactions. Previous European or international VAT experience would therefore be particularly useful. The business is also interested in strong Financial Accountants who have worked within an international, multi-currency or high-volume environment and would like to develop their European VAT knowledge as the Group continues to expand.
