Financial Accountant

Our Client is a City of London law firm with a headcount of 750 staff in offices across Europe. They specialise in many areas of law including Commercial, IP and Technology, Tax, Corporate Finance and MandA, Employment and Real Estate amongst others.They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team. The role will be part of the MI and Reporting team within the Central Finance Department. The team is responsible for reporting the firm''s results, including statutory and management accounts, budgets, forecasts, key performance indicators and performance reporting. This is a broad role which incorporates statutory accounts and audit, management accounts, budgeting and reporting. ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly Management Accounts, including variance analysis, PandL and balance sheet and other reports.Supervision of Fixed asset register, prepayments and accruals.Preparation and posting of other month end journal adjustments.Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Monthly cash flow forecasts Financial Accounting.Assisting with 30th June year end production of statutory Financial Statements.Preparation of reconciliations and supporting schedules.Preparation of year end audit files.Liaising with external auditors and tax advisers Business Services Business Partnering.Monthly costs centre reporting and regular update meetings with Business Services budget holders.Preparation of overheads budget and assist with forecasting 2 ..... full job details .....
