Junior Financial Accountant / Assistant AccountantBurton upon TrentUp to £35,000 A well-established business based in Burton upon Trent is seeking a Junior Financial Accountant / Assistant Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their financial accounting skills within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of accounting responsibilities, supporting month-end processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.Key Responsibilities:Posting journals, accruals and prepaymentsPreparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with month-end accounting processesSupporting the preparation of accounts to trial balanceCompleting VAT returnsMaintaining the general ledger and ensuring accurate financial recordsAssisting with financial reporting and wider finance team activitiesAbout You:Previous experience in a finance or accounting roleComfortable preparing accounts to trial balance levelExperience with journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliationsExposure to VAT returns and month-end processesStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAAT qualified, studying ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience candidates are all welcome to apply This role would suit an Assistant Accountant, Junior Financial Accountant, Accounts Assistant, General Ledger Accountant, Accounts Semi Senior or Part Qualified Accountant looking to take the ..... full job details .....
