Financial AccountantSalary: up to £70,000Location: NorthamptonHybrid Working: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home We are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a growing and fast-paced organisation. This role will take ownership of acquisition accounting, statutory reporting, and key month-end processes, working closely with stakeholders across the business.The Role:Acquisitions -Partner with internal stakeholders to support due diligence and pre-acquisition activitiesManage post-completion processes and support integration into finance systemsTake ownership of acquisition accounting, including key agreement clausesContinuously improve acquisition processes, driving efficiencies and providing insightful financial analysisFinancial Control -Lead the group audit processPrepare consolidation entries for management and statutory reportingProduce statutory accounts for multiple entitiesReview group balance sheets and ensure accuracyManage regulatory returns and submissionsPrepare and submit VAT returnsSupport tax compliance and liaise with external advisors where requiredAssist with financial reporting alongside the management accounts teamDeliver meaningful financial analysis and reporting at entity levelProvide broader support across the financial control functionAbout You:Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or ..... full job details .....
