Financial Accountant

This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting the wider finance function in delivering high-quality financial information. Key responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly financial statements and supporting the month-end and year-end close processesAssisting with the production of statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standardsSupporting the annual audit process and acting as a key contact for external auditorsMaintaining balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial recordsManaging fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure reportingSupporting cash flow reporting and treasury-related activitiesAssisting with the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory submissionsMonitoring and improving financial controls, processes, and reporting proceduresProviding financial analysis and support to the wider finance team and operational stakeholdersSupporting continuous improvement initiatives and ..... full job details .....
