not hybrid . The company offers a 9-day fortnight (every second Friday off). There may be some homeworking in the future at the manager''s discretion.Reporting to the Manager UK and HQ Financial Accounting, this individual will provide financial accounting services to the company''s Europe business.Main Responsibilities include:Preparing statutory accounts for UK entities, liaising with auditors (KPMG), and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP (FRS102).Leading interim and year-end SOX control audits, coordinating responses, and supporting UK and HQ accounting and projects.Ensuring timely internal monthly reporting to US headquarters, including benefit analysis, taxes, and doubtful accounts.Performing month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and reviewing SAP entries.Handling ad hoc statutory and analytical work, representing the team on projects.Qualifications and Competencies:Degree educated and qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).Knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102).5+ years post-qualification experience in financial accounting and statutory reporting.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.Advanced Excel and SAP skills; Thomson Reuters OneSource experience ..... full job details .....
