Financial Accountant 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team based in Howden, East Yorkshire on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Control, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust balance sheet controls, and supporting the Quality and Aftersales functions through effective business partnering. Responsible for period-end accounting, warranty provision management, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements, you will provide timely financial insight that supports sound decision making and business performance. Location Howden, East Yorkshire Contract Type 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Shift Monday to Friday, 37.5 Hours Working Pattern Hybrid working: 4 days on site, with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Hiring Manager Head of Financial Planning and Control What will I be doing as a Financial Accountant? Own the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for the Quality and Aftersales cost centres, providing accurate financial plans that support operational decision-making. Prepare and review month-end accounting entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Partner with Quality and Aftersales management teams to improve understanding of financial performance, key drivers and variances.
