This role offers the opportunity to join a high-calibre finance team within a business where career progression and development are expected to accelerate as the organisation continues to scale.Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial control across the business, ensuring balance sheet integrity, supporting statutory reporting and audits, and driving improvements to processes and governance.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post technical and judgemental journals, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial records.Take ownership of technical areas of the month-end close process, ensuring reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.Manage revenue recognition processes, including deferred revenue accounting and reconciliations.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and group policies, investigating unusual movements and identifying cut-off risks.Own the balance sheet reconciliation process, maintaining the integrity of the balance sheet through a robust control framework.Implement and maintain a risk-based approach to ..... full job details .....
