Finance Trustee
We are seeking to recruit a voluntary trustee with significant financial expertise to join the Board and, in particular, to contribute to the work of our Finance and Audit Committee. Flint House Police Rehabilitation is a charity funded by donations from those in the police service and their families. It is with these generous donations that we help and heal over 3,500 members of the police service each year, providing physical rehabilitation and mental health support. We are particularly interested in someone who can bring strong financial oversight and strategic thinking to the Board, alongside an understanding of financial planning, risk, investment and organisational sustainability. The Finance and Audit Committee plays an important role in supporting the Board''s oversight of Flint House''s financial affairs. Its responsibilities include reviewing the annual plan and operational budget, monitoring management accounts and forecasts, risk management and internal control arrangements. The trustee role is voluntary and would require attendance at quarterly Board Meetings, together with online participation in the monthly Finance and Audit Committee. The successful candidate would play an important role in providing financial challenge and assurance, supporting sound governance and helping shape the future of strategic direction at Flint House. ..... full job details .....
