Finance Transformation & Systems Manager

Overview

WRK digital are partnered with a market-leading European services business that is embarking on a finance transformation programme to modernise operations, improve data for decision-making, and strengthen financial visibility. They are now seeking a Finance Transformation and Systems Manager to act as the bridge between Finance and IT — redesigning workflows, implementing smarter tools, and driving automation to ensure finance systems become true strategic assets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with possibility of transferring into permanent. Location: Bradford, England, United Kingdom.Responsibilities

Developing a single source of truth for finance data, consolidating multiple systems into one reliable platform.Driving automation and efficiency by introducing new tools (e.g. Alteryx, Blackline, FPandA solutions).Delivering insightful reporting via Power BI, enabling both leadership dashboards and self-service analytics.Redesigning core finance processes (close routines, reconciliations, booking-to-reporting workflows) for speed and accuracy.Leading change management, cleaning up legacy systems, and embedding sustainable improvements across the team.Qualifications

Strong grounding in finance and accounting, with a proven track record in finance transformation, systems, or BI/analytics.ERP experience (CODA ideal; NetSuite, Sage or similar welcome).Advanced user of Power BI; knowledge of Alteryx, SQL ETL, or Blackline highly desirable.Skilled in SQL and Excel, with hands-on process improvement expertise.Confident communicator and change agent, able to engage both finance and IT stakeholders.Employment details
