Finance Team Leader

Brief Summary Are you an experienced finance professional ready to take the next step in your career? We''re recruiting a Finance Team Leader / Finance Supervisor to join a well-established business in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong accounting knowledge who enjoys leading by example while remaining hands-on in the day-to-day running of the finance function. Working Monday to Friday, you''ll support the finance team, ensure accurate financial reporting and play a key role in maintaining high accounting standards. The Role Support and supervise the day-to-day activities of the finance team. Prepare and review prepayments, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations. Complete VAT returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Assist with month-end processes and financial reporting. Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 50 (preferred but not essential). Provide guidance and support to junior members of the finance team. Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies. What We''re Looking For Previous experience in a Finance Team Leader, Finance Supervisor or Senior Accounts role. Strong understanding of prepayments, accruals, VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations. AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent). Sage 50 experience is desirable but not essential. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to support and develop a small team. What''s ..... full job details .....
