Client Details An organisation in the financial services sector, based in London. Description Supporting the Finance and Governance Workstream Lead throughout the discovery phase. Conducting stakeholder interviews and workshops across finance and wider business functions. Mapping and analysing current-state finance processes. Reviewing period-end close and Record-to-Report (R2R) activities. Assessing finance operating practices and identifying process inefficiencies. Performing root cause analysis on key operational, reporting and governance challenges. Evaluating governance frameworks, controls and decision-making structures. Reviewing accountability models and organisational responsibilities. Assessing debt management and lending-related finance processes. Working with finance and data teams to understand reporting requirements and data challenges. Producing clear documentation, findings and actionable recommendations. Supporting the development of future-state considerations and prioritised improvement opportunities.
