Finance Operations Manager

Robertson Bell are recruiting for a Finance Operations Manager on behalf of a large and complex organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transactional finance professional to take strategic and operational responsibility for a busy finance function covering income, payments, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Managing a team of up to 10, you will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, improving processes and ensuring the effective management of cash across a complex group structure. The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the transactional finance function, with responsibility for: Managing and developing a team of up to 10 across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Overseeing high-volume supplier payments, including BACS, CHAPS and manual payments. Ensuring supplier invoices, expenses, credit cards and other payment transactions are processed accurately and on time. Overseeing income processing, invoicing and credit control, ensuring income is collected promptly. Supporting cash flow management across multiple entities. Maintaining strong financial controls, reconciliations and compliance across the Group. Ensuring inter-company balances are reconciled and resolved in a timely manner. Supporting month-end and year-end processes, ensuring all deadlines are consistently met. Monitoring team performance against KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
