Finance OfficerLocation: Fully office based- Stevenage, SG1Pay Rate: 16.35 per hourContract: Temporary (with potential extension)Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: December2026Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per weekAbout the RoleThe primary focus of the next phase of the role will be supporting the delivery of the Direct Payments Bank Account to Prepaid Card Transition Project, alongside wider Adult Care Services Income responsibilities.Key duties will include processing incoming post, managing financial documentation, supporting project implementation, collaborating with partner teams, and responding flexibly to emerging service priorities. Please note that your duties will vary day to day depending on which department is needing support.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a varied caseloadSupport the implementation and embedding of standardised direct payment monitoring processes Strengthen working relationships and handovers with Operational Teams, Brokerage, Client Financial Services and Debt Recovery teams to improve serviceTo participate in data cleansing of existing client accounts.Liaising with internal teams, care providers, and external organisationsUsing multiple case management systems to maintain accurate records Skills and Experience RequiredStrong attention to detailPrevious finance experienceExcellent numerical abilityAbility to work independently and collaborativelyConfident using various case management systemsStrong Excel skills (formulas, spreadsheets, data handling) If you ..... full job details .....
