Finance Officer (Student Fees) Higher Education Oxford £30-£39k The role An established Higher Education organisation in Oxford are looking for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This person will be responsible for the administration and smooth running of the student sales ledger function. Responsibilities Checking and posting all student charges Being responsible for student tuition fees, accommodation costs, and associated charges Dealing with day-to-day queries from students Respond quickly to emails and support students Maintain accurate records using accounting software Prepare monthly reconciliation of control accounts Termly reconciliation of tuition fees Assisting on ongoing development of internal documentation, records, and systems Assisting with preparations for audit Cover for payroll and purchase ledger responsibilities, should the need arise The ideal candidate Previous accounting experience and financial administration AAT qualified or equivalent Strong numerical and analytical skills Strong organisation and time-management skills Good level of IT skills including Microsoft Excel A positive attitude and excellent communication skills What you need to do now If you''re interested in this role, click ''apply now'' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn''t quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
