Finance Officer

AAT Finance Officer Location: BlackwoodSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 AAT Finance Officer: We are currently recruiting for an AAT-qualified or AAT-studying Finance Officer on behalf of our client, a well-established organisation based in Blackwood. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to build on their accounting experience and develop their career within a supportive finance team. The Role Working as part of the finance function, you will provide support across a range of transactional and accounting activities, helping to ensure the accurate and efficient management of the organisation''s financial records. Key responsibilities will include: Processing purchase and sales invoices. Managing purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions. Completing regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Processing payments, expenses and staff claims. Assisting with credit control and resolving outstanding queries. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and management information. Posting journals and supporting general ledger activities. Investigating and resolving financial discrepancies. Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments. Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory requirements where required.
