Finance Officer

Our client, an FCA-regulated firm, who are at the forefront of providing institutional-grade digital asset execution, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their Finance Team.This role offers excellent opportunities for personal and career development within the exciting world of digital assets, providing exposure to a wide variety of accounting functions. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team, managing purchase and sales ledger duties, assisting with month-end and year-end preparations, annual audits, budgeting, and forecasting, and being the first point of contact for any finance queries within the company. Responsibilities

Leading the accounts payable processTimely and accurate processing of vendor invoicesRaising and issuing invoices to their customersReconciling company bank accountsWorking closely with the Finance Director for timely preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting for senior managementActing as the main point of contact with banking providersCollaborating with the financial auditor for smooth and timely annual audit completionSupporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting for senior managementReviewing payroll with HR for staff in multiple jurisdictionsWorking with the Tax Director and external tax advisers to prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with tax legislationReviewing and approving vendor paymentsAssisting with finance-related queries from other departmentsSkills, Knowledge, and Expertise

Essential:

Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)2-5 years of experience in a similar roleHighly proficient with MS ExcelPractical, pragmatic, and enjoys working as part of a small team in a busy environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressureDesirable:
