Finance Officer Location: King''s Lynn, NorfolkSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience/qualifications)Job Type: Full-time, 37 hours per week (part-time hours over 30 per week considered)Reed Accountancy Norwich are delighted to have been retained to recruit a Finance Officer to join our client in King''s Lynn. In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing all financial transactions within a collaborative and development focused environment.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Perform daily accounting and transaction processing including payroll, ledgers, invoices, reconciliations, and BACS processing.Produce month-end reports on outstanding rates and manage ratepayer enquiries.Handle registration and collection of Direct Debit payments, ensuring accurate allocation and addressing anomalies.Maintain thorough documentation and audit trails, adhering to Financial Regulations.Liaise with landowners, agents, auditors, and ratepayers, managing audit or inspection requirements.Ensure prompt invoicing and collection of drainage rates and other charges.Produce financial statements, monthly management accounts, and reports.Support the Finance Department during periods of holiday and sickness, and undertake additional tasks as required by management.Required Skills and Qualifications:Essential:Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.At least two years of relevant work experience in accounting, including sales ledger and credit control.Strong organizational skills ..... full job details .....
