Reporting directly to senior leadership, you''ll work across all aspects of the finance function while gaining exposure to management reporting, forecasting and business decision-making. The Role As Assistant Accountant, you''ll support the day-to-day running of the finance function and work closely with the Accounts Assistant, wider business teams and external accountants. Key responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports Supporting month-end processes and performance reporting Overseeing sales and purchase ledger activities Managing payment runs and bank reconciliations Assisting with cash flow monitoring and credit control Preparing and submitting VAT returns Supporting payroll processing Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities Ensuring strong financial controls and accurate financial records ..... full job details .....
