Finance Officer
As a Finance Officer, you''ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation''s accounting processes. This role is based in Oxford and supports the not-for-profit sector with accurate financial reporting and budget management. Client Details A not-for-profit organisation located in Oxford. Description The Finance Officer''s responsibilities include: Oversee daily financial transactions, including payments and receipts. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with financial policies. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and audits. Chase outstanding debt over the phone and via email. Provide financial advice and insights to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial management. Profile A successful Finance Officer should have: Experience in accounting or finance roles. Strong knowledge of financial processes and regulations. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. An eye for detail and excellent organisational skills. The ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively. A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is desirable.
