Finance Officer
Finance Officer About The Role We are recruiting a Finance Officer to be part of the Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR) to deliver important workstreams that deliver on key objectives for the Commission. The role is a fast-paced and highly collaborative role, reporting to the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be a driven, collaborative colleague, with good attention to detail, have experience of working to tight deadlines and will possess the ability and communication skills to build strong working relationships at all levels across the ICRIR and various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: Play a key role in the finance function by putting in place monthly controls to provide high-quality financial reporting and governance. Leading on transaction processing and being the finance contact for the Commission with the shared services provider. Processing monthly journals, purchase orders, receipts and invoices for payment. Monitoring and responding to queries in the Finance Team inbox Liaising with stakeholders including sponsor department (Northern Ireland Office), HM Treasury, Internal Audit and the National Audit Office. Supporting the year-end reporting, ensuring all audit requirements are met to enable the successful delivery of the year end accounts.
