Finance Officer We are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer to join a busy Finance and Estates Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the effective delivery of financial services within a public sector environment. Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Location: Downpatrick Role Overview The successful candidate will provide a wide range of administrative and financial support, ensuring the efficient operation of systems and processes within the department. You will play a key role in supporting financial governance, maintaining accurate records, and assisting stakeholders across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the Trust''s Financial Governance Framework Process financial information in line with policies and deadlines Investigate queries and provide support to financial and non-financial stakeholders Assist with reconciliations of control accounts Support compliance with Public Sector Prompt Payment Policy Maintain accurate financial records and databases Input, monitor and validate financial data with a high level of accuracy Produce reports, manage spreadsheets, and use internal systems Assist with workload planning to meet financial deadlines Handle large volumes of cash and coin where required Provide administrative support including: Managing emails and correspondence Arranging meetings and appointments Taking minutes Maintaining filing ..... full job details .....
