We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to work on a temporary contract for a Housing Association in Gloucester. This role is offering fully remote working.

Job title: Finance Officer
Location: Gloucester
Hourly rate: -19hr

Key Responsibilities of a Finance Officer:

  • Accurately process supplier invoices and maintain up-to-date purchase ledger records.
  • Resolve invoice queries and disputes promptly through collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Support financial audits by demonstrating adherence to key financial controls and procedures.

Requirements of a Finance Officer:
  • Proven experience managing a busy purchase ledger in a multi-company or group structure.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls and inter-company transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • AAT Level 2 qualification is desirable but not essential.
