Finance Officer

Finance Officer Salary: £32,000-38,000 Location: Reading We are seeking an experienced, dependable and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our finance team in Reading. This is a hands-on role covering payroll support, accounts payable and management accounts, alongside wider finance duties as required. It would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of a defined workload, values stability and wants to become a long-term, trusted member of the finance team. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with established processes and recurring responsibilities, but who also has the experience, resourcefulness and practical know-how to adapt when priorities, systems or business requirements change. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable and Finance Inbox Manage the finance inbox and respond to supplier queries in a timely manner Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and posting Reconcile supplier statements Prepare regular payment runs Management Accounts and Month-End Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments Perform balance sheet reconciliations Support month-end processes and reporting deadlines Payroll Support the monthly payroll process, ensuring information is complete, accurate and submitted on time Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, commission and other adjustments Assist with payroll reconciliations and ..... full job details .....
