Finance Manager/Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Finance Manager/Accountant to join our clients growing business. This is a key role within the company, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting, payroll management, and supplier payments.The successful candidate will be hands-on, commercially aware, and confident managing multiple accounting functions while supporting the wider management team with timely financial information.Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accountsProducing financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projectionsMonitoring financial performance and reporting to senior managementOverseeing the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger departmentsManaging supplier payments and maintaining strong supplier relationshipsEnsuring accurate reconciliation of bank accounts and ledgersFull responsibility for payroll processing and controlManaging BACS payments to employees and suppliersHandling payroll-related matters including: PAYE and National InsurancePension contributionsDeduction of Earnings OrdersStatutory payments and compliance Liaising with external accountants, auditors, and HMRC where requiredMaintaining financial controls and ensuring compliance with company procedures Candidate Requirements Proven experience in a similar Senior Finance roleStrong knowledge of management accounting and forecastingExperience overseeing purchase and sales ledger functionsConfident managing ..... full job details .....
