Finance Manager

Our client is a well-established business SME business who currently have a newly created opportunity for a Finance Manager. Reporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Director, this is very much a hands-on position combining financial management, team leadership, and process improvement. You will take ownership of core finance activities while managing a small team and supporting the wider business with financial insight and analysis.Key responsibilities will be as follows:Lead, develop, and motivate a small finance teamPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementOversee the preparation and delivery of group management accountsEnsure reporting deadlines are consistently metPrepare financial reports for one division and review outputs from other team membersPartner with non-finance teams to provide clear financial insights and analysisSupport decision-making through effective communication of financial informationReview and approve weekly and monthly payment runsOversee VAT returns and compliance requirements, liaising with external advisors where necessaryPrepare statutory accounts for multiple entitiesSupport the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditorsConduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunitiesProvide recommendations to enhance business performanceEvaluate and improve financial systems, controls, and processesImplement best practices to increase efficiency and scalabilityYou ..... full job details .....
